Tommy Fleetwood is the latest big-name pro to step into the golf content ring. The European Ryder Cup mainstay just teased his first YouTube series, and it’s not your typical swing tip or vlog. Nope, Fleetwood will try to break 100 playing golf left-handed.

“Dear golf,” Fleetwood opens in his teaser video, “I don’t know how else to say this, but it’s time for me to start over. Like, all the way over.”

Fleetwood’s entry into YouTube continues a trend of elite pros embracing content creation. Bryson DeChambeau has gone viral with his long drive experiments and course vlogs. Phil Mickelson, in true Lefty fashion, posts in-depth golf breakdowns. Jason Day uploads under “The Lads,” and Ian Poulter just launched his own channel last month.

Fleetwood has only posted four videos so far, including a look at how he preps for majors, a match against himself, and a practice session tackling one of golf’s toughest shots.

But the left-handed series is his first official challenge, and it’s a hilarious and humbling twist.

Fleetwood already has over 80,000 subscribers, and that’s expected to surge once the series drops. With his dry wit, fan-friendly demeanor, and one of the smoothest swings in the game (at least right-handed), it’s a match made for the algorithm.

Still Chasing His PGA Tour Breakthrough

While he’s chasing views online, Fleetwood is still hunting his first PGA Tour win on the course.

He came heartbreakingly close earlier this summer, blowing a one-shot lead to Keegan Bradley on the 18th at the Travelers Championship. That loss still stings, but Fleetwood enters the FedEx St. Jude Championship this week ranked 9th in the FedEx Cup standings — very much in the hunt for a monster finish.

Despite the lack of a PGA Tour title, Fleetwood has built a rock-solid reputation thanks to his Ryder Cup heroics, major contention, and elite ball-striking. He’s a lock for Team Europe again next month.

From Memphis to Lefty Mayhem

Fleetwood’s balancing act — YouTube creator and FedEx Cup contender — reflects the evolving landscape of modern pro golf. Fans want access, personality, and authenticity. And Fleetwood is delivering all three.

Whether he breaks 100 lefty or not, the series is guaranteed to entertain. And for a fan base already charmed by his style and spirit, it’s just another reason to root for him — on and off the course.
