If the vibe shift in U.S. Ryder Cup culture wasn’t obvious when Keegan Bradley was picked to captain the 2025 squad, it is now—just look at the bags. Questions surrounding if Bradley will play in the Ryder Cup still linger, but the bags are locked in.

The new U.S. Ryder Cup team bags, unveiled this week and designed by the irreverent crew at Swag Golf, are loaded with symbolism, swagger, and a clear message: this team isn’t trying to do “business as usual.” From the “In Keegan We Trust” stamp replacing the presidential motto on the Great Seal, to Mount Rushmore graphics, to golf clubs replacing olive branches in the eagle’s talons—this is not your grandfather’s red-white-and-blue.

But there’s substance behind the spectacle. Swag Golf didn’t just slap some stars and stripes on nylon and call it a day. These bags, manufactured by Vessel, serve as a canvas for stories, satire, and pride. And they’ve got Keegan’s fingerprints all over them, even if he didn’t exactly ask for that.

Despite Bradley’s natural aversion to attention, Swag slipped in a presidential-style seal with the now-viral “In Keegan We Trust” twist. Their defense? “It just kind of squeaked through,” said Swag’s creative director, A.J. Getz. But the rest of the design had Bradley’s full involvement—right down to a hidden mantra stitched inside the ball pocket:

“Play for your country, play for your family, play for your legacy. –KB” That’s the tone Bradley is setting. Passionate. Gritty. Unapologetically American.

Of course, Swag Golf has a history of elevating Ryder Cup accessories into collector’s items. Their 2021 “money covers” with Steve Stricker’s signature became iconic after the U.S. rolled Europe at Whistling Straits. The idea this year? Up the stakes, and maybe the retail game too—because yes, these bags (and stand versions) are already available to the public for a cool $600 and $400, respectively.

But what matters most is whether this is the bag they win with. If the U.S. reclaims the Cup this fall at Bethpage Black, you can bet this gear becomes immortal Ryder Cup lore. The symbolism, the edge, the storytelling—it only sticks if Team USA sticks it to Europe on the scoreboard.

And whether Keegan Bradley is just the coach or also one of the 12 stars riding into battle with his name on the bag, the message is clear: This team isn’t here to play it safe. They’re here to win—and look good doing it.
