Brooks Koepka is sticking around for a while in Europe. The five-time major champ has been handed a tournament invite to the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, giving him back-to-back starts on the DP World Tour this month.

The LIV Golf star is already in the field at this week’s Amgen Irish Open at The K Club, but now his stay across the pond will stretch a little longer. Wentworth is the flagship event on the DP World Tour, and Koepka will be joined by a host of other LIV names, including Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Patrick Reed, Joaquin Niemann, Thomas Pieters, Adrian Meronk, and Dean Burmester.

From Flagship to Links

Koepka’s European swing won’t stop there. He has also confirmed his participation in October’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, played across the iconic trio of St Andrews, Carnoustie, and Kingsbarns. That comes just one week after the Ryder Cup — and while his fellow countrymen battle Team Europe at Bethpage Black, Koepka will be teeing it up in Scotland.

That Ryder Cup absence is a big storyline in itself. Since breaking into the U.S. team in 2016, Koepka had been a fixture, a rock in match play for the Americans. But 2025 marks the first Ryder Cup he’ll miss — a result of a season that fell flat by his lofty standards.

A Quiet Year for Koepka

Koepka endured his first winless season with LIV Golf, finishing a disappointing 31st in the league standings. On the major stage, he struggled too: three missed cuts (Masters, PGA, and The Open) and just one top finish, a tie for 12th at the U.S. Open, where he wound up seven shots back of surprise winner J.J. Spaun.

By Koepka’s standards, that’s a down year. But the invites to Wentworth and the Dunhill Links give him a chance to reset, compete on elite courses, and maybe remind the golf world that he is still one of the best.
