PGA Star Rickie Fowler Announces Big New Sponsorship

Rickie Fowler is back in the spotlight — both on the course and in the world of high-profile endorsements.

Fowler, a six-time PGA Tour winner and longtime fan favorite, will tee it up this Thursday at the 2025 3M Open Championship at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.

It’ll be his first start at the event since 2022, and he arrives with momentum after an impressive run at The Open Championship at Royal Portrush. He found his game and carded a closing 65 to finish T-14 at 8-under. But the biggest swing he took this week came off the course.

On Tuesday, Yeti Coolers made it “officially official,” announcing Fowler as their newest brand ambassador. The reveal was in a bold Instagram reveal featuring footage of Rickie with Yeti drinkware in hand at various tournaments. The caption welcomed him to the team, and Fowler didn’t waste time responding.

“Stoked to be a part of the team! Let’s keep cruising @yeti,” Fowler wrote via his Instagram Story, reposting Yeti’s announcement video.

Yeti is known for its rugged, high-end coolers and outdoor lifestyle gear. The company continues to build a roster of elite athletes and personalities that match its “built for the wild” brand identity. Fowler — known for his laid-back style, adventurous persona, and loyal fanbase — is a natural fit.

This ambassador deal will feature Fowler in Yeti’s digital campaigns, product launches, and branded content throughout the remainder of the 2025 PGA Tour season.

All Eyes on Minnesota

Fowler has the new Yeti deal in hand and his confidence soaring from his performance at Portrush. He posted rounds of 69, 72, 70, and 65 — Fowler enters the 3M Open hoping to stay hot. He’ll be grouped with Tony Finau and Taylor Pendrith for the first two rounds as he searches for his seventh career PGA Tour title and first since 2023.

While the 3M hasn’t been kind to him in years past, Fowler has shown flashes of top-tier form in recent months. A strong showing this week could solidify his late-season surge. A run would help in both the FedEx Cup standings and in the eyes of Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley.

From major stages to marketing deals, Rickie Fowler is everywhere right now. If he keeps firing 65s, you can bet he’ll be in contention and in commercials for the rest of the year.
