In a move that could reshape golf’s TV future in the UK and Ireland, TNT Sports has officially inked a multi-year deal to broadcast the LIV Golf League, and it starts swinging into action in January 2026.
A New Era of Global Golf Coverage Begins
LIV Golf, the upstart global league known for its high-octane mix of team and individual play, will be coming to screens across TNT Sports’ TV network and its streaming platform discovery+. All 14 global events in the 2026 season will be streamed live, beginning with a nighttime spectacle under the lights at Riyadh Golf Club from February 4–7, marking the world’s largest professional night golf tournament. And from there? The show travels across five continents and ten countries, including first-time stops such as South Africa, as well as returning favorites in Mexico, Australia, Singapore, and the USA.
Big Names, Big Drama, and a Bold LIV Golf Format
This announcement signals more than just broadcasting rights; it’s a full-throttle commitment. TNT Sports plans on-site presentation and comprehensive coverage, aiming to immerse UK and Irish fans deeper into the high-stakes drama of LIV Golf’s fast-evolving narrative. With 57 top-tier players, including headliners like Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, and Tyrrell Hatton, spread across 13 teams plus five Wild Cards, the action is set to be anything but predictable.
The format also gets a revamp. Starting in 2026, tournaments expand to four-day, 72-hole events, giving fans more access to the stories, rivalries, and edge-of-your-seat finishes that have helped LIV Golf carve out its bold identity in the sport.
TNT Sports Strengthens Its Premium Portfolio
For TNT Sports, this deal fortifies its position as a go-to hub for premium live content, already home to the Premier League, UEFA competitions, and UFC. And for LIV Golf, it’s a strategic foothold in one of the sport’s most historic strongholds, delivered with the kind of storytelling muscle TNT Sports is known for.
As LIV continues to reimagine golf’s future, this partnership promises to deliver not just a broadcast but a redefinition of how the game is presented, followed, and felt. One thing’s clear: the fairways are changing, and TNT Sports is riding the front wave.
